A survey had highlighted that the organization had significant problems affecting motivation, morale and effectiveness of the employees.  We interviewed all the key board members and it became apparent that they were working in silos with no common vision or direction, and no accountability for delivery.  This was compounded by the different national cultures and individual ambitions. Through facilitated board workshops the members became aware of the underlying causes, took responsibility for the outcome, developing and agreeing new strategies, and took action to provide responsible and cohesive leadership to the organization.
